OAA Conference 2024 - Housing: Pushing the Envelope

The next edition of the OAA Conference will be taking place from May 22 to 24, 2024 in Niagara Falls, with the theme of Housing: Pushing the Envelope. It will reflect the urgency and importance of addressing housing challenges in our society. With the recent recognition of adequate housing as a human right through the National Housing Strategy Act, the 2024 OAA Conference aims to bring together a diverse range of architecture experts and professionals. This event will be hosted at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, with the Marriott on the Falls serving as the designated host hotel. Against the backdrop of Niagara Falls, attendees will delve into innovative ideas and solutions to design safe, inclusive, and sustainable spaces that foster community, health, and well-being. From exploring cutting-edge technologies and regenerative building principles to reimagining adaptive reuse and rethinking densities, the Conference will showcase the latest trends and best practices in creating equitable and inclusive housing. It promises to be a transformative experience, where participants can engage in meaningful conversations, expand their knowledge, and contribute to shaping the future of housing in Ontario and beyond.

REFUND POLICY

Days of Learning
There is no refund for choosing less than the Continuing Education sessions that represent the days of learning included in any Continuing Education package.
Registration
No Refunds will be granted for cancellations received after May 6.
To obtain a refund prior to May 6, please email the official receipt along with your written request to: conferenceregistration@oaa.on.ca
ENROLMENT POLICY
Continuing Education learning hours will be uploaded to members’ OAA Transcripts based on Continuing Education sessions, Experiential Case Studies, Recreational Tours, and qualified social event attendance. OAA reserves the right to cancel a Continuing Education session, Case Study or Tour if there is insufficient enrolment. Every effort will be made to communicate changes as they occur.
