Licensed Technologist Examination 2026

OAA Technology Program

This exam is only open to Intern Technologists who have completed a minimum of 2790 approved experience hours and whose account is in good standing. 

HOW TO REGISTER:

1) Please sign in with your OAA Username and password.
    Forgot your username or password? Click here to retrieve your username or reset your password. 

2) Once you have signed in select "REGISTER MYSELF".

3) Confirm your eligibility to write the exam by selecting "I confirm" in the drop down and click "UPDATE RESPONSES". 

4) Select "ADD" next to your writing session selection, followed by "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT".

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1)  To pay by cheque, eTransfer OR online banking, enter your name at the PURCHASE ORDER field and click "SUBMIT ORDER" to receive an automatically generated Order Confirmation via email, which also serves as an invoice/receipt.

2)  VISA and MasterCard payments are accepted. Please note the payment processing company charges a non-refundable 2.5% convenience fee.

Cancellation Policy:

To cancel your registration for the examination, you must send a written request to the OAA at OAATechProg@oaa.on.ca.

Cancellation requests submitted more than 30 days prior to the scheduled examination date shall be eligible for a refund of 75% of the Exam Fee.

Requests submitted within 30 days of the scheduled examination date are non-refundable.

Accommodation at the exam: 

If you require accommodation in order to write the examination, please contact the OAA Technology Program at OAATechProg@oaa.on.ca to request the accommodation form.  Requests for accommodation must be received no later than May 1, 2026.
