This case study of the SAB Magazine and OAA Design Excellence Award-winning Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation showcases a collaborative, holistic approach to realizing design excellence and the delivery of a low-cost, high-performance, net-zero carbon building. Designed and built in  21 months, the Centre leverages a “think global/act local” outlook, integrating community, academic, and residential spaces with responsive design, selective prefabrication, and constructability approaches to deliver economy and build resilience at all scales.
