Presented by the Canadian Canoe Museum’s executive director, curatorial director, and design team, this session will guide participants through the development of this nationally significant museum. Key topics include the essential engagement with Indigenous communities, the design competition and its subsequent reconsideration, the project's shift to a new vision and location during the pandemic, and the use of Integrated Project Delivery to design and construct the museum.

2. Explore how a cultural project can foster local community support.
3. Understand potential challenges of Integrated Project Delivery.
4. Learn about designing a project of significance with budget constraints.
